Sailing with SOS is more than just sailing. We welcome both local and out of town visitors who travel from near and far. Enjoy the local sights and sounds of the beach or venture to downtown St Petersburg for museums, restaurants, picnics in the park, and stroll the newly renovated downtown pier.

SOS is an organization that creates a community of support for those going through health concerns which often become overwhelming. By inviting people from all over the country, we hope to inspire not only those who are going through the health challenge, but also their support group, families, and daily supporters that are also affected by the events and daily struggles. The best part of volunteering for SOS is setting sail and watching the stress leave our guests bodies while smiles and laughter fill the yacht.
Spread the Word!
We receive requests to volunteer regularly and then there's also those who tell us they would like to volunteer but don't have time. If you fall into the latter, we have a solution. A very important service for our organization is: "word of mouth." The simple act of spreading the word of our complimentary service will help get our information into the ears of those who need the break, comradery, connection to others going through similar situations, and the simple act of nurturing kindness felt while we're out sailing on the Boca Ciega Bay.
